ENHANCER
I was world — I have been carried.
Enhancer is based on the ontological consideration of materiality and space as a field with its own generative capacities and potentials. Gaia Radić questions the creation of subjectivity in this artistic research resulting in a site-specific installation engulfing KUĆĆA. We witness a pre-subjective birth — the barrier between the inside and the outside is permeable, spread through not only by objects and apparatuses but by spatiality itself.
The work was realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, Zaklada Kultura Nova, and the City of Zagreb Office for Culture.
Gaia Radić is a new media artist born in 2001 in Pula, Croatia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sculpture from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka, Croatia and is currently based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she is studying Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Video, Animation and New media at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design.
